Themen: Introduction to the theory of and extensive hands-on training in the in situ hybridisation technique. Particular emphasis on: (i) biological sample preparation; (ii) probe design and labelling; (iii) signal amplification; (iv) different approaches used for RNA detection; (v) analysis and evaluation of obtained data; (vi) detailed troubleshooting for all steps required. Special focus: introduction of the ViewRNA® kit and its comparison to standard ISH approaches.
